"About 25-30 years ago, I thought about recording a winter holiday music themed project. It seems as if every November, I decide to get started, and it never seems to work out, but this year I was lucky enough to start early...

With fire under my seat, I've collected together an entire world of musicians from the past 35 years that I've come to respect, admire, and enjoy. The culmination of this project came in the form of the beautiful songs that were produced. I'm proud to have Ruvane contribute such a wonderful offering."

"Johnny reached out to me to ask if I would participate in a holiday music project he had been dreaming up - to work with a diverse group of musicians and spread a little holiday joy. Of course, the answer was yes!

Since I was a kid, I've always loved this song by Peter Yarrow. We also thought it would be cool to pay homage to the original art. We worked together to incorporate various artists from all around the US, and even the UK. I'm particularly thrilled to introduce my son Lyric on the track, playing trumpet. In such an unusual time, we were able to bring all of the musicians together remotely on one track - although we are apart, we were able to come together in spirit!"
